What kind of training does a medical lab assistant have?
Medical Lab Assistants receive specialized training in how to take blood, safely handle specimens, perform electrocardiograms, protect patient confidentiality and understand medical terminology. They also know and practice procedures for protecting patients and themselves from infectious diseases throughout the testing process.
