Company marks second consecutive year on The Green 30 list
SURREY, BC, April 28th, 2011: For the second consecutive year, BC Biomedical Laboratories Ltd. has been named as one of The Green 30, a list compiled by international human resource
consultants Aon Hewitt and published in Maclean’s magazine. The Green 30 list identifies organizations whose employees believe they have incorporated environmental stewardship into their business model and corporate culture. The list recognizes organizations where the employer and employees are engaged in efforts to mitigate environmental damage, reduce pollution, cut down on waste, promote green behaviours and foster sustainable, healthy growth.
As BC Biomedical Laboratories Ltd.’s green efforts have largely been employee-driven, this distinction is a wonderful reflection of the hard work that its employees have put into questioning the old ways of doing things, learning about the changes that are possible, and implementing green initiatives right in their own areas.
