Medical Laboratory Technologist

Our Medical Laboratory Technologists are located in the analytical laboratory situated in the award-winning Cam Coady Building, in Surrey, BC. They may work in the Chemistry, Hematology, Microbiology, or Parasitology clinical departments, performing analytical testing and quality assurance of specimens. Our Medical Laboratory Technologists are given the best tools to handle a large volume of tests and spot problems quickly and accurately.

To apply for a Medical Laboratory Technologist position, you must meet the following criteria:

• Current registration by the Canadian Society for Medical Laboratory Science as a Registered Technologist
• Previous work experience or training in a high volume, computerized laboratory preferred
• Good communication and team skills
• Good judgment, decision making and organizational skills

Positions may be regular (permanent) full-time or part-time, or casual, depending upon the current operational needs of our clinical departments.
